MY JOURNEY

I created LH Retail Development after a career break focussed me on what I wanted to do and how I wanted to help businesses in the retail industry...

Having worked in retail since I started my career it is fair to say that my love for all things product, sales, shops and now online has been unwavering! I’m passionate about all things retail and supporting product business owners with understanding their businesses on a deep level to produce great results.

Working for some amazing brands over the years, including Argos, Burberry, River Island and Paperchase I have gained a wealth of experience across a number of categories and products. This exposure to so many niche product areas has allowed me to collate intel and provide meaningful support to businesses, whatever stage of the journey they are at. I’m passionate about breaking down jargon, using data to inform decisions and only using spreadsheets when they actually help!

My career journey has allowed me to build up a bank of knowledge in merchandising working with some of the UK’s leading retailers. This has enabled me to understand the creative process and how data and insight can support forming ranges and stock decisions: and I have created a unique framework of what your business needs to achieve its goals.
